Charles,Barbara,Steven.... Just wanted to say Dale will be greatly missed by all who knew him....he and I spent countless hours talking over a cup of coffee----he knew the Watkins of Welda,Ks. well and my dad married Mildred Watkins----Dale knew her and her family well and we would talk about the family---who was where, what they were doing, their families and so on.....he also talked a lot bout the chuch there in Mt.Ida because my grandparents(Evan & Clara Watkins)attended there as well.....we would talk about the diffent ministers who had been there in the past years and so on....my father, Wayne Loughridge and Mildred Watkins were married at that church back in 1961......Dale and I go back a long ways!

I have fond memories of Dale. When I worked at Bill's in Garnett he would come in regularly to get a bite to eat and visit with everyone. He was a nice, nice man.

Dale was a sweet and gentle man. I will miss him very much and so will many people I know. He has touched many hearts in this county. He will be missed.

I've know Dale most of my life, when he discovered I was Marlene Powls' little sister. I just talked to him last week at Dollar Store, we talked a long while and he always had such a good outlook on life and such a nice man. Always had time to visit and left you feeling good. I will miss seeing Dale. God Bless him!

A man who fully deserves the title: "HIS HONOR, THE MAYOR OF MONT IDA." A huge yet humble man. Peter and Theresa

We have both worked so many times with Dale at the Lutheran church on various projects, and attended church services and bible studies with him. He was always the same, devout, fun natured, hard-working, eager to help out anyone, but never wanting help for himself. Sometimes he would get tickled about something and could not stop laughing. He would have us all in stitches. He was a kind and gentle man whose warmth will be missed by all those who saw him here and there every week. Dale has finally met the Lord he has worshiped for so long and we love knowing that he has a wonderful new home. God be with all of Dale's family as they cope with their loss of a beautiful person.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Dales family. I'm sure he's in a better place, but he will be missed. Peace be with you all.
