Phares family, please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers as you say your final goodbyes to Rick. I first met Rick when I was in grade school. He lived across the street from a friend. He sure was a character back then. Then when I worked at Tri-ko Rick was one of "my guys" for awhile. Never a dull moment and you just never new what he was gonna say next. Brings a smile to my face thinking of some of the Rick moments. Rejoice in the memories of your special angel. He is up with his momma probably talking her leg off now! I remember when she would come to visit him and it was the highlight of his week! Defineately one of a kind!

So sorry to hear that you have lost Ricky. I will always smile when I think of Ricky, lots of memories of growing up in our neighborhood and him on his bicycle stopping and spending some time with us. I'm sure he's smiling down on you now.

I remember Ricky riding his bike almost everyday to Kingsolver Drug Store where he would sit at the end of the counter and order a coke. He would tell us what his adventure was going to be for the day. Then he was off to find it, whether it was to the record store, swimming, or just riding around. When he had somewhere in mind he wanted to go, there was no stopping him :-) He most generally always had a smile on his face.
