Aaron Lee Geisler

Aaron L. Geisler, 37, of rural Iola passed away at his home Monday, January 9 2017. Aaron was born May 18, 1979 to Herbert and Cynthia (Cheever) Geisler. He grew up near Iola and graduated from Iola High School in 2000. He enjoyed good food, listening to rock and roll and classic country music, and taking long walks. Survivors include his parents of Iola, a brother, Damon and wife Donna Geisler of Asheboro, North Carolina, his grandmother Odessa Cheever of LaHarpe, Kansas, his step niece Candace Stroud of Trinity, North Carolina, uncles Dan Cheever of LaHarpe, Clifford Geisler of Iola, aunts Caroline Thorne and husband Dennis of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Kara Cheever of LaHarpe, and Linda Kraft of Chanute. Aaron was preceded in death by his grandparents Alma and Herbert Geisler, grandfather Earl Cheever, and an aunt, Rosemary Geisler. Private family services will be held at a later date.
