Adam (A.C.) R. Church

Adam (A.C.) Russell Church, age 43, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2020, in a motorcycle accident near Owasso, Oklahoma, Adam was born December 7, 1976, in Iola, Kansas, to Fred K. Church and Janet G. (Lord) Church.

Adam graduated from Iola High School in 1995. He ran track and competed in high jump. Adam still holds a track record at Iola High School.

Adam worked for Rickert Landscaping and Tree Service in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he was a climber/trimmer foreman. Adam loved climbing trees and especially enjoyed his employment with Rickert.

Adam liked motorcycles, fishing, and he was passionate about animals. He loved to spend time with his kids. Adam enjoyed going to the casino, and he was often very lucky. He was known to be a good mechanic and helped friends and family work on their vehicles.

Adam was preceded in death by his grandparents; and two cousins, Justin Snavely and Kelly Lord.

Adam is survived by his parents, Fred Church and wife, Vicki, Iola, Kansas, Janet Church, Iola, Kansas; daughter, Destiny Henry, Iola, Kansas; sons, Marcel Church, Suffolk, Virginia, Trace Church, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Evan Kent Church, Iola, Kansas; step-daughter, Shay Converse, Tulsa, Oklahoma; sister, Amy Dozier and fianceé, Eddie Scales, Iola, Kansas; brothers, Thomas Church and wife, Amy, Ft. Worth, Texas, Freddie Church, Wichita, Kansas; special significant others, Tanika Keagle, Suffolk, Virginia, Annie Henry, Iola, Kansas, Candice Kent, Iola, Kansas, Kara Cunningham, Tulsa, Oklahoma; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Cremation has taken place and the family is planning a memorial service for a later date.

Memorials are suggested to the Adam Church Memorial Fund to assist the family with expenses, and may be left with Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 US Highway 54, Iola, Kansas.
