Agnes Setter

Agnes Setter, age 97, of Greeley, Kansas, passed away on Sunday, April 29, 2012, at the Allen County Hospital in Iola, Kansas She was born on January 2, 1915 at Scipio, Kansas, the daughter of Peter and Mary (Roecker) Setter. Agnes worked as a housekeeper for Priests in the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas for many years. She retired in 1990. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Barbara Setter; two brothers, Bernard Setter and Martin Setter; and an infant sister. Agnes is survived by her brother, David Setter and wife Ruth of Garnett, Kansas; and by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 3, 2012, at the St. Boniface Catholic Church in Scipio, Kansas. Burial will follow in the St. Boniface Cemetery in Scipio, Kansas. A Rosary will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening at St. Boniface Church, with family present to greet friends following until 8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Boniface Church and left in care of Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 219 S. Oak Street, Garnett, Kansas 66032.
