Alice Jean "Booe" Morris

Alice Jean Morris, "Jeanie" to most, passed away September 17, 2017 at Via Christi Saint Francis Hospital in Wichita, Kansas. She was born August 10, 1947 in Chanute, Kansas to Lloyd and Anna (Wade) Booe. She grew up in western Kansas, Chanute, and Humboldt. She worked in restaurants, the Tyson Chicken Plant, Allen County Hospital, housekeeping, and caring for her son. She enjoyed playing bingo, shopping, spending time with her family, and collecting angels. She is survived by three children, Becky Morris of Iola, Danny Morris of the home, and Brian Morris and Cristie of Yates Center; two grandsons, Brendon and Shawn Morris of Yates Center; three granddaughters, Elizabeth, Brianna, and Eden; one great granddaughter, Agitha; two sisters, Sandy Hurst and husband, Richard, of Humboldt, and Nancy Culbertson of Moran; two brothers, Rick Booe and wife, Vickie, of Humboldt, and Rex Booe of Larned, Kansas; and an uncle, Johnny Wade of Clinton, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Danny Bruce Booe; a grandson, Nathaniel; two great nieces and a great nephew. A visitation will take place from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 US Hwy 54, Iola. A graveside memorial service will take place at a later date at Mount Hope Cemetery in Humboldt.
