Alice Dieker Frisch

Alice Frisch, age 81, of Sunnyvale, California, passed away on October 13, 2014, in Sunnyvale, California. She was born on February 19, 1933, the daughter of Herman and Lovina Dieker, the fifth child of nine and was raised on the family farm in Westphalia, Kansas. After graduation from Westphalia High School, she married her sweetheart, Gerald, in 1951, and was his "living doll" for 63 years. In 1958, they relocated to California. She dedicated many loving hours to her family, church and community. Alice is survived by her beloved husband, Gerald Frisch; daughter Julia Buchanan, son-in-law Robert Buchanan, granddaughter Brenna Buchanan Young and husband Brandon Young; daughter Janice Broussard, son-in-law Kirk Broussard, grandson Ryan Broussard and wife Reichel Broussard, great-grandchildren Arden and Conrad Broussard, granddaughter Ronelle Broussard and grandson Aaron Broussard; sisters Lorene Altenbernd and Shirley Henderson; brother Tom Dieker and sister-in-law Donna; sister-in-law Margarite Weinmann and many, many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Monday, October 20, 2014, at St. Teresa Catholic Church, burial following in St. Teresa Cemetery, Westphalia, Kansas. A rosary will be held at 6:00 p.m., on Sunday evening at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
