B. Lucille Wilson Morrow

Bertha Lucille Morrow, 85, of Moulton, Iowa and had been a recent resident of The Haven in Ottumwa, Iowa, passed away at 3:15 a.m. on August 19, 2017, at Vista Woods Care Center in Ottumwa. She was born March 9, 1932 in Garnett, Kansas to Orvil and Daisy (Peek) Swope. She married Loran Wilson and he preceded her in death. She married Max Morrow on May 11, 1991 in Garnett, Kansas. A graduate of Garnett High School, she earned a degree in cosmetology. Lucille owned and operated a hair salon in Garnett. She was a member of Orleans Church of Christ in Moulton and she loved to cook and bake pies. Lucille was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son, Richard Wilson; an infant daughter, Anna Wilson; four sisters; two step-sons, Larry and Jerry Morrow; and her step-father, Art Teeter. She is survived by her husband, Max Morrow; two sons, Loran (Juanita) Wilson Jr. and Jimmy (Karen) Wilson both of Kansas; a step-son, Gene (Jeanie) Morrow of Moulton, Iowa; a step-daughter, Susie Johns of Ottumwa, Iowa; 20 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and 29 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted by Reece Funeral Home in Iowa. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at the Garnett Cemetery, Garnett.
