Barbara Barnes

Barbara Ann Barnes, 76, of Iola, Kansas, died Wednesday, February 26, 2014, at Allen County Regional Hospital in Iola. Barbara was born June 15, 1937, in Boise City, Oklahoma, the daughter of William Floyd and Vella Margaret (Yoho) Patterson. She graduated from Iola High School and attended Allen County Community College. Barbara married Ray Barnes and they later divorced. She worked for Berg Manufacturing for over 20 years before retiring. SURVIVORS: 2 Sons: Steve Barnes of Brooksville, FL and Mike Barnes of Iola, KS 1 Brother: Carlos "Cart" Patterson of Crestone, CO 1 Granddaughter: Jenny Joo (Seunghwan) 1 Great Grandson: Noel She was preceded in death by 5 brothers. Cremation has taken place. A service of remembrance will be held at a later date. Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Memorial Chapel of Iola, assisted the family.
