She was born on June 12, 1951, to Herman and Florence (Gay) Jackman in Moran, Kansas.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Dale Jackman and son, Michael Laver.
She is survived by her daughter, Mistie and son-in-law, Shaun Hodges of Virginia Beach, Virginia; grandson, Logan and wife Stephanie Henderson of Virginia Beach, Virginia; great-grand-daughter, Lyla Henderson; brothers, Henry Jackman, Jerry Jackman and Mike Jackman; sisters, Donna Smith, Janet Houk and Betty Randall; and numerous other family and friends.
Due to her wishes there will be no services or viewing.
