Barbara Yoder

Barbara (Beachy) Yoder, age 94, of Garnett, Kansas, died March 26, 2010 at the Anderson County Long Term Care Facility, Garnett, Kansas. She was born on January 30, 1916, at Garnett, Kansas, the daughter of Jonas and Lizzie (Overholt) Beachy. Barbara married Toby D. Yoder on October 8, 1936 at Garnett, Kansas. They lived in matrimony for 73 years. She is survived by her husband; One son and three daughters: Irene and Earl Wingard of Thomas, Oklahoma; David T. and Sylvia Yoder; Verna and Larry Keim; Dorothy and Ivan Keim; son-in-law, Andy Miller, all of Garnett, Kansas; 35 Grandchildren; 113 Great Grandchildren; and two Great Great Grandchildren; two sisters, Bertha Miller of Thomas, Oklahoma and Esther and Ervin Yoder of Garnett; two brothers, Mahlon Beachy of Garnett and Lloyd and Lydia Beachy of Carlton, Oregon; brother-in-law, Tobias and Katie Yoder of Kaloma, Iowa; sister-in-law, Dora Beachy of Iola, Kansas. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Susan Miller; two brothers, Simon and Alvin Beachy; three sisters, Minnie Yoder, Anna Beachy and Susie Beachy; one grandchild, and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the 9:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at the LaVern Keim residence, 29947 NW Kentucky Rd, Garnett.
