Becky Stanley

Becky Stanley, 48, of Iola, Kansas, died Friday, March 11, 2011, at her home. Becky was born November 9, 1962, in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Robert and Vesta (Hoseney) Stanley. She grew up at Coffeyville and Chanute. She graduated from Chanute High School and received her bachelor's degree in social work from Pittsburg State University in 1995. Becky worked as a caregiver for COFTS (Coffey, Osage, Franklin Training Services) out of Ottawa, Kansas, before contracting the H1N1 virus in October of 2009. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Chanute and attended First Baptist Church in Iola. Becky enjoyed crocheting, writing to pen pals, reading and watching television. SURVIVORS: Her Parents: Dan & Vesta Danielson of Gas, KS Her Brother-In-Law: Mike Ramsey of Chanute, KS She was preceded in death by her sister, Kristina Ramsey, and half-brother, Danny Danielson. Cremation has taken place. MEMORIAL SERVICE: 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 19, 2011, at First Baptist Church in Iola. Rev. Mike Quinn will officiate.
