Betty Gilpin

Betty J. Gilpin, age 59, of Garnett, Kansas, passed away on November 17, 2012, at the Coffey County Hospital, Burlington, Kansas. She was born March 20, 1953 at Colony, Kansas, the daughter of Junior Lee and Imogene (Sutton) Gilpin. Betty graduated from Garnett High School. Betty's jobs expressed her personality as a caregiver, helping any way she could. She was loving, caring, generous, and thoughtful and true to her family and friends. She had an undying love for her son. Betty loved her brother and friends, laughing and visiting with them. She enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, sitting on her porch, BBQ's and cooking (fried tacos). Betty always had a smile and big wave for everyone. Betty will be truly missed and in our hearts forever, she was loved by many people. We were blessed with all the memories she left with us. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Junior and Imogene Gilpin; son, Joseph White; and her faithful friend "Angel". She is survived by her brother, Linnie Gilpin and wife Delores of Delta Junction, Alaska; as well as many close friends. Memorial services will be held on at 1:00 p.m., on Saturday, December 1, 2012, at the Feuerborn Family Funeral Service Chapel, Garnett.
