Jayne Snyder

Betty “Jayne” Snyder went home to be with our Lord on February 3, 2021 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri.

Jayne was born on March 4, 1945, to Ernest and Chloe Aldola “Alice” (Toadman) Appling in Iola, Kansas.  Jayne attended school in Gas City and LaHarpe schools.  She married Jack Snyder on May 10, 1973.

Jayne was preceded in death by her husband Jack; parents; sister, Joyce Stokes; and brother, Gary Appling.

Jayne is survived by 3 daughters, Robin Culp of Iola, Becca Snyder and her partner, Jason Fugate of Chanute, Kansas, Rachael Snyder and husband, Michael Atwell; 10 grandchildren, Joshua and Tina Culp, Tiffany and Zachary Buchanan, all of Iola, Kaleb and Dodger Beckham of Great Bend, Kansas, Brody Hammond of Chanute, Kansas, Jayce and Haley Fugate of Chanute, Kansas, Malachi, Akayah and Draco Atwell of Humboldt, Kansas; 4 great-grandchildren, Abigail and Emily Buchanan, Blaze and Jaxton Culp all of Iola, Kansas; several nieces and nephews that she loved dearly; 2 sisters; and 1 brother.

Memorial services in honor of Jayne will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, February 12, 2021 at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service in Iola, Kansas. Masks will be required for all services.
