Beverly Ewing

Beverly Jean Ewing, 68, of Iola, Kansas, died Saturday, May 7, 2011, at the Allen County Hospital in Iola. Beverly was born August 12, 1942, in Neosho, Missouri, the daughter of Ernest David and Faye Vivian (Michael) Malloy. The family moved to Iola and she graduated from Iola High School. On September 11, 1961, Beverly married Jessie Ewing and they made their home in Iola. She worked as a nurses aide for several years at Countryside Estates. SURVIVORS: Her husband of 49 years: Jessie Ewing of the home 3 Sons: Keith Ewing of Chanute, KS, Kevin Ewing of LaHarpe, KS, and Kelly Ewing of Wichita, KS 1 Daughter: Rhonda Ingraham & husband, Larry of Chanute,KS 5 Brothers: Mike Malloy of Chanute, KS, Roy Lee Malloy of Osage City, KS, Dennis Malloy & wife, Kathy of Iola, KS, Harvey Malloy & wife, Sharon of Wichita, KS, and David Malloy & wife, Kathy of Humboldt, KS 3 Sisters: Winona Leslie & husband, Mike of Iola, KS, Debra Lindholm & husband, John of Houston, TX and Sondra Malloy of LaHarpe, KS 7 Grandchildren: Tyler, Hunter, Trevor, Drake & Laney Ewing, Lizzy & Sammy Ingraham She was preceded in death by her parents, infant daughter Teresa, and brothers Del and Al and infant brothers Ronald and Donald. VISITATION: 7:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 11, 2011, at Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Chapel in Iola FUNERAL SERVICE: 1:00 p.m., Thursday, May 12, 2011, at the Wesley United Methodist Church in Iola. Rev. Trudy Kenyon Anderson will officiate.
