Billy Mack Davis

Billy Mack Davis, age 75, of Osawatomie, Kansas, formerly of Garnett, died on Wednesday, October 1, 2008, at the Life Care Center in Osawatomie, Kansas. He was born on April 5, 1933, in Cabool, Missouri, the son of Robert Augusta Davis and Myrtle "Mintie" (Preston) Nelson. He grew up in Pamona, Missouri. Following the death of his mother he moved to Colony, Kansas to live with his brother Robert J. Davis, and wife, Illa. From December, 1997 to April, 2007 he was a resident of Tri-Ko Inc. home in Garnett, until entering the Life Care Center, Osawatomie. Billy enjoyed visiting with others, watching television, playing games, going for walks, bowling and attending parties. He loved animals and children (babies). Billy was very sweet, gentle and caring and a flirt with the ladies. Billy was preceded in death by his parents; and several brothers and sisters. He is survived by one brother, Hugh Davis of Tacoma, Washington; and one sister, Velda O'Neil of California; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Friday, October 3, 2008 at the Colony Cemetery in Colony, Kansas. Memorial contributions may be given to Tri-Ko Inc.
