Braden Rae Hunt, age 16, of Kincaid, Kansas passed away Saturday, October 1, 2011, the result of an automobile accident. Braden was born January 22, 1995 at Garnett, Kansas the son of Dusty and Dee (Bowen) Hunt. Braden grew up in the Kincaid area attending school at Crest elementary in Kincaid. He attended Anderson County Junior High. He was currently in the 11th grade at Anderson County High School, where he played football and was a member of the basketball, and track team. Braden loved music and could not be seen doing anything without listening to his music. He enjoyed playing the guitar. Braden loved the spirit of competition and was always active, but most of all he loved doing anything that involved his friends. Braden is survived by his parents, Dusty and Dee and one sister, Tia, all of the home. He is also survived by his paternal grandparents, Wayne and Anna Hunt of Huntsville, Arkansas; maternal grandfather, Darrell Bowen and wife, Anita, of Elkins, Arkansas; and his maternal grandmother, Wanda Bailey and husband, Lonnie of Springdale, Arkansas; two great-grandmothers, Pauline Sloan of Huntsville, Arkansas and Wetha Bowen of Wesley, Arkansas. Braden also leaves behind many friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM, Thursday, October 6, 2011 at the Garnett Church of the Nazarene. Burial will follow in the Kincaid Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6:00-8:00 PM, Wednesday evening at the funeral home in Garnett. Memorial contributions may be made to the Braden Hunt Memorial Fund.
