Brandon Michael Hamilton, age 27, passed away on December 31, 2023 at his home in Olathe, Kansas.
Brandon was born on May 18, 1996, in Chanute, Kansas, to Ted W. Hamilton and Belinda (Spencer) Hamilton. In his early years, he attended the Community Christian School then went on to finish middle and high school in Iola, Kansas. With his job, Brandon moved quite a few times before settling in Olathe.
Brandon began cooking in his early teenage years. He was known for his extreme love of cooking and his exceptional ability to cook delicious food. Brandon began working at 15 years old as a cook at Corleone's and was there until the restaurant closed. Afterwards, he started his career at Walmart and quickly moved up into a management position.
Brandon loved to go fishing, and was proud of what he caught. He liked the outdoors, riding his motorcycle, and traveling with friends and family. Any travel was welcome to Brandon, whether it was a cross-country trip, or flying out to Las Vegas, which he did more than once. Brandon enjoyed computers and online gaming with friends. He was well versed in many technology-related areas, even winning a state award for a cybersecurity project.
Brandon is preceded in death by his grandmother, Carolyn Spencer of Iola; grandfather, Newton C. Spencer of Walnut, Kansas; and brother, Taylor Hayes Hamilton.
Brandon is survived by his parents, and many other close friends and relatives.
A memorial service for Brandon is planned for Friday, February 2, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., in the chapel at Feuerborn Family Funeral Home, 1883 US Highway 54, Iola, Kansas. Memorial contributions may be made to the Brandon Hamilton Memorial Fund. Condolences to the family may be left at
