Brenda Anne Holloway, 51, of Iola, Kansas, died Sunday, August 2, 2015, at her home. Brenda was born January 8, 1964, in Corpus Christi, Texas, the daughter of Steve and Adelina (Perez) Holloway. She grew up in Gas and graduated from Iola High School in 1982. Brenda served in the U.S. Marine Corps during Desert Storm. She helped start the Jump Start Convenience Store in Iola. She established Patty's Posse Breast Cancer Support Group when her sister was battling breast cancer. She later founded Wings of Warriors Cancer Foundation for Allen County.
