Carl D. Abbe

Carl D. Abbe, 71, of Iola, Kansas, died Friday, August 12, 2016, at Medicalodge of Girard. Carl was born February 1, 1945, in Anderson County, Kansas, the son of Clarence and Ellen (Vanderslice) Abbe. He has spent most of his life in Iola. He is survived by his brother, Richard Abbe of Bronson, Kansas and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, George and Albert Abbe. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, Aug. 19, 2016 at the Iola Cemetery on the west edge of Iola. Feuerborn Family Funeral Service of Iola, is in charge of arrangements.
