Carolyn Lucille (Cramer) Morris passed away May 30, 2013 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 30, 1942 in Esterville, Iowa to Fred and Lucille (Bingham) Cramer. As a young child she moved back to Kansas to a farm east of Gas City with her family. She graduated from Iola High School in 1961. On August 1, 1962 she married the love of her life, Bobbie R. (Bob) Morris at the LaHarpe Christian Church. They were together for 47 wonderful years before he preceded her in death on October 19, 2009. She lived in the Humboldt and Iola areas. She had worked at Arkhaven in laundry and numerous years as a Certified Nurse's Assistant at PineCrest Nursing Home. She loved working with the elderly. She had a golden heart and a smile for everyone. She loved to go camping with her family. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, and spending time with her family and friends. She was called "mom" by so many of her children's friends and "grandma" by many of her grandchildren's friends as well. She had been a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Humboldt, Kansas for many years. She is survived by her children: Toma and Lindsy Morris, Tony and Candie Morris, AnnieMarie and Michael Kidwell, Tammie J. Mitchell and fiancé Joe Creviston, Towanda and Jonny Belosic all of Iola, KS; her grandchildren, Jessica and James Snoddy, Coffeyville, KS, Andrew Hutton and fiancé Amy, Casey Kidwell, Sarah Hyden and Robert, Tyler Mitchell, Anthony Mitchell, McKenzie, Gavin, and Allison Morris, Britanie Rogers, Alex and Austin Morris, Cody Smith, Jeremy Poore all of Iola, KS; step-granddaughter, Amber Belosic, Klamath Falls, OR; 10 great-grandchildren, 2 step-great grandchildren, and a great-grandchild due in August, 1 step-great-great grandchild; Three sisters, Rosa and Jim Hansen, Iola, KS, Mary and Martin Henderson of Elsmore, KS, May and Paul Jackson of Mound City, KS, a brother, David and Sandy Cramer of Humboldt, KS, her brothers-in-law, Darrell and Phyllis Jackson, Mound City, KS, Mike Stanford, Iola, KS, Marvin and Isabel Morris, Wichita, KS, Jay and Bev Morris, Dennis Morris all of Andover, KS, a sister-in-law, Datha and Gary Curbey, Marshall, TX, numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were a son, Bobbie R. Morris, Jr.; granddaughters, Jennifer M. Hunt and Alli Raylynn Morris, her parents, sisters, Roberta (Bertie) Jackson and Lenora (Norie) Stanford, her in-laws, Kenneth and Marie Morris and brother-in-law, Kenneth (Butch) Morris. VISITATION: 7:00-8:00 p.m., Monday, June 3, 2013, at the Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Chapel in Iola. FUNERAL SERVICE: 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at the First Christian Church in Iola. BURIAL: Mount Hope Cemetery, Humboldt, KS MEMORIAL CHOICES: American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association or Allen County Animal Rescue Facility (ACARF) Memorial gifts may be left with the Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Memorial Chapel of Iola, which is in charge of arrangements.
