Cecelia CeCe Biery

Cecelia "CeCe" Biery, age 64, of Garnett, Kansas, passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at St. Luke's Plaza in Kansas City, Missouri. She was born May 3, 1952, in Newark, New Jersey, the daughter of Gustave and Sue Frommer. CeCe graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in Paterson, New Jersey. She worked as a police officer in New Jersey and in later years as a home health nurse. CeCe was a member of the First Christian Church, Garnett. She enjoyed playing Bingo and especially enjoyed playing dominos with her neighbors for hours at a time. She liked car rides anywhere the road would take her. CeCe was preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter; and one sister. She is survived by her sons, William De Graaff and Sarah Brown of Junction City, Kansas, John De Graaff and Melody of Warrensburg, Missouri, Dennis De Graaff of Herrington, Kansas, J.J. Daniels of Richmond, Kansas; grandchildren, Joshua, Allyssia, Robbie, Joshua, Jesse, Brooklyn, Laila, Damon; one sister, Susan Minor and William of Temple, Texas. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, June 20, 2016, at the First Christian Church, Garnett. Memorial contributions may be made to CeCe Biery Memorial Fund.
