Cerea Reed

Cerea Ce'Nedra Reed, age 13, of Neosho, Missouri, died of injuries she received in an automobile accident near Neosho on Saturday, March 1, 2014. Cerea was born July 1, 2000, in Olathe, Kansas, the daughter of Herbert Leon Reed and Jennifer Joyce Lester. She grew up in Chanute until moving to Neosho two and a half years ago. She was in the 8th grade at Neosho Junior High School and a member of the school choir. Cerea was a tomboy who enjoyed fishing, working on cars, caring for horses and dogs and spending time with her friends. SURVIVORS: Her Parents: Herbert L. Reed & wife, Natasha of Chanute, KS, and Jennifer J. Lester & companion, Daniel Craig of Neosho, MO 4 Siblings: Gabby R. Gann of Erie, KS, Abby M. Lester of Neosho, MO, Madisyn M. Reed and Nathaniel T. Reed both of Chanute, KS Grandparents: Jerry & Lois Lester of Erie, KS and Herbert L. Reed, Sr. of Savonburg, KS Great Grandfather: Arthur L. Lester of Claremore, OK A host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Brenda J. Rush, and great grandparents, Dale & Donna (Clay) Sigler, Gladys Mae Lester, Marvin and Betty Holtsclaw and Leo and Olive Reed. FUNERAL SERVICE: 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 8, 2014, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1420 E. Carpenter, Iola.
