Charlene Sue German

Charlene Sue German, age 77, of Neosho Falls, Kansas, passed away August 28, 2023, at the Kansas Heart Hospital, Wichita, Kansas. Charlene was born December 20, 1945, five miles west of Neosho Falls on the Big Hill, to Charley S. Chriestenson and Juanita M. (Bushman) Chriestenson.

Charlene graduated in 1964 from LeRoy High School, LeRoy, Kansas. She and Wayne German were married May 29, 1964, in Iola, Kansas.

Charlene worked for H.L. Miller & Son, Iola, Kansas, and National Mills, Yates Center, Kansas. Charlene liked to garden, fish, flea markets, and she enjoyed traveling to 48 of the 50 states. She loved her dog, Scruffy. Charlene loved spending time with her family.

Charlene was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Linda Bruner.

Charlene is survived by her husband, Wayne, of the home; children, Ron (Vickie) German, Neosho Falls, Kansas, Susan (Ken) Leedy, Yates Center, Kansas, Sara (Eric) Patterson, Manhattan, Kansas; grandchildren, Regan (Jeremy) Jacobs, Yates Center, Kansas, Callie (Kelly) Minor, Neosho Falls, Kansas, Maggie (Aaron) Lockhart, Neosho Falls, Kansas, Caitlin (Michael) Milner, Americus, Kansas, Morgan (Caleb) DeNoon, Crocker, Missouri, Zachary Patterson, Manhattan, Kansas, Leah Patterson, Manhattan, Kansas; great-grandchildren, Kahlibyr and Lahrimyr Jacobs, Rydlee Minor, Bexlie and Chett Lockhart, Laurel Milner; sisters, Patricia Schuster, Janice (Ed) Eckroat, Glenda (Nathan) Brown, Sheryl (Leon) Valentine, Lorena (Mo) Salami; and brother, Robert (Deborah) Chriestenson.

A funeral service to honor Charlene's life will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, in the chapel at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 US Highway 54, Iola, Kansas. Burial will follow in the Cedarvale Cemetery, Neosho Falls, Kansas.

Memorials are suggested to the Neosho Falls United Methodist Church or to Cedarvale Cemetery, and may be left with Feuerborn Family Funeral Service.
