Charles Sater

Charles Henry "Chuck" Sater, 65, of Iola, Kansas, died Sunday, July 5, 2015, at Allen County Regional Hospital in Iola, Kansas. Chuck was born December 5, 1949, in Kansas City, Kansas, the son of Charles Daniel and Anna Marie ( Gifford ) Sater. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Viet Nam War. In 1984, Chuck was married to Deborah Maliniemi and they lived in Oregon and Texas before moving to Kansas sixteen years ago. He worked at Walmart for several years before retiring. SURVIVORS: Wife Deborah Son: Steven Daughter: Jennifer He was preceded in death by a sister, Billie Charlene Sater Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be announced at a later date. Memorials are to the Chuck Sater Memorial Fund and they can be sent to the Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Memorial Chapel who is in charge of arrangements.
