Claire R. Mowry, age 84, of Gardner, Kansas, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2013, at Golden Heights, Garnett, Kansas. She was born on May 12, 1929, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Victor and Josephine (Tenelli) Riillo. Claire married Frank E. Mowry on February 14, 1958. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, CWO Frank Mowry on July 16, 1987. Claire is survived by her daughter, Trish Ackerley and husband Teeno of Paola, Kansas; granddaughter, Amanda Dunkin and husband Derek of Garnett, Kansas; grandson, Matt Peuser and wife Jill of Olathe, Kansas; four great grandchildren, Lily and Bella Dunkin; Dylan and Zachary Peuser.
