Clara Lee "Ted" Francis, 85, of Aliceville, Kansas, died Friday, December 24, 2010, at Wilson Medical Center in Neodesha, Kansas. She was born June 6, 1925, at Garnett, Kansas, the daughter of John and Bonnie (Kennie) Corwin. She grew up in the Garnett and Welda areas. On October 31, 1941, Clara married James W. "Jim" Francis in Iola, Kansas. They made their home in the Colony, Welda and Geneva area. They retired from the farm and moved to Westphalia. He preceded her in death November 16, 1990. She then moved to Aliceville. SURVIVORS: 4 Sons: John Francis, Daniel Francis and Gene Francis all of Aliceville, Kansas, and Harvey Francis of LeRoy, Kansas 3 Daughters: Bonnie Fry of Orville, Washington, Rosemary Ragsdale of Neosho Falls, Kansas and Alydia Stratton of Colony, Kansas 19 Grandchildren, 59 Great Grandchildren and 36 Great Great Grandchildren She was preceded in death by a brother, "Bud" Corwin and a sister, Eunice Mott. GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, December 28, 2010, at the Westphalia Cemetery at Westphalia, Kansas. The Rev. Art Collins will officiate.
