Clarence Lee Garber, age 60, Iola, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at the Robert J. Dole Veterans Administration Medical Center, Wichita, Kansas. Clarence was born February 3, 1958, in Iola, Kansas, to Clarence Jr. Garber and Erma (Wagner) Garber. Clarence attended school in Garnett. Clarence served in the Kansas Army National Guard. Clarence worked for many years at United Tire in Iola. Clarence and Martha Ross were married on August 25, 1980, in Iola, Kansas. Clarence enjoyed collecting guns and other items and John Wayne movies. Clarence loved watching movies, television, and playing horseshoes. Clarence took care of Martha, the love of his life. Clarence was preceded in death by his wife; parents; sister, Ragenia Garber; brother, Claude Garber; and step-son, Frederick Marsh. Clarence is survived by two brothers, Michael Garber and wife, Janet, LaHarpe, Kansas, Glen Garber and wife, Tammy, LaHarpe, Kansas; one sister, Dora Kluckner and husband, Larry, Longdale, Oklahoma; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. The family will greet family and friends at 10:30 a.m., just prior to the funeral service at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 17, 2019, at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service Chapel, Iola, Kansas. Burial will follow in the Welda Cemetery, Welda, Kansas. Memorials are suggested to the Allen County Animal Rescue Facility (ACARF), and may be left with Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, Iola.
