Corliss had been retired since 1995 from the Cotton Division of the US Department of Agriculture in El Paso, Texas. Corliss was a kind, sweet spirit who loved her family dearly. She was also a vibrant person with a great sense of humor. She looked forward to family visits, just waiting to drag you through many "antique" shops - touching everything - sometimes buying - sometimes not. She never met a card game she didn't like and she was always up for a game. Corliss loved music - country and gospel music mostly - and she spent hours at her computer burning tracks for friends and family. Aubrey was a Korean War veteran and he will be interred in the National Cemetery in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Funeral services for Corliss will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 30, 2009, at the Feuerborn Family Funeral Service Chapel in Moran, Kansas. She will be interred at the Bronson Cemetery in Bronson, Kansas, her childhood home. The journey there will be her last family "road trip".
