Bubba Waggoner

Dacota "Bubba" John Waggoner, age 7, passed away on May 21, 2024, at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri, after battling Cockayne Syndrome.

Bubba was born on March 3, 2017, to Marc Waggoner, Jr. He lived with his guardians, his grandparents, in La Harpe, Kansas.

Bubba liked to watch Paw Patrol with his brother and sister, and was a huge fan of firetrucks. He was a very happy child, who was loved by all who met him.

Bubba was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Jerry Trester; great-grandmother, Elizabeth Waggoner; and great-great-grandparents, Bert and Maxine Trester.

Bubba is survived by his father; grandparents, Pamela and Marc Waggoner, Sr.; grandmother, Janice Trester; uncle and brother, Matthew Waggoner; uncle and brother, Michael Waggoner; sisters, Meghan Sparks and Porscha Waggoner; brother, Parker Waggoner; aunts, John and Tammy Harris and Ted and Tina Bresee; and many cousins.
