Dale Vink

D. Dale Vink, 67, of Iola, Kansas, died Fri., Feb. 26, 2016, at Allen County Regional Hospital. Dale was born March 12, 1948, in Luverne, Minnesota, the son of Delmar and Lucretia (DeBoer) Vink. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. Following his honorable discharge he made his home in Iola. In 1969, Dale married Alice Munsen and they later divorced. He worked for Haldex in Iola for 27 years. Dale enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching sports and attending his grandson''s games. Survivors include 2 sons, Rick Vink and wife, Therese of Iola, KS and Scott Vink and wife, Michelle of Ottawa, KS; 3 siblings, James and Arnold Vink both of Luverne and Joanne Campbell of Moline, Mich.; and 5 grandchildren, Isaac and Davis Vink, Axavier, Zetan and Maria Vink. His brother, Gary Vink, preceded him in death. Cremation has taken place. The family will host a memorial service at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2016, at Rivertree Christian Church in Iola.
