Danny Lee Morris

Danny Lee Morris, age 43, of Iola, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2018, at the Allen County Regional Hospital, Iola, Kansas. Danny was born July 22, 1975, in Chanute, Kansas, to Kenneth and Alice (Booe) Morris. Danny graduated from Iola High School in 1996. He was diagnosed with cerebral palsy as a baby. Danny received services from Community Living Opportunities. Danny loved people joking with him, WWE wrestling, shopping, collecting M&M figures, and his family. He enjoyed playing softball with the Iola Angels special needs team. Danny had many friends in the community. Danny was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; two uncles; and a nephew. Danny is survived by a one sister, Becky Morris, Iola, Kansas; one brother, Brian Morris and companion, Cristie Hobbs, Yates Center, Kansas; two nephews, Brendon Morris, Hutchinson, Kansas, and Shawn Morris, Yates Center, Kansas; three nieces, Elizabeth Miller, Hutchinson, Kansas, Brianna Miller and Eden McKenzie, Chanute, Kansas; three half-siblings; several aunts and uncles; several cousins, one great-niece; and his four-legged friend, Olive. A visitation to honor Danny's life will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, December 28, 2018, at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service Chapel, Iola, Kansas. A private family inurnment will be at a later date in Mount Hope Cemetery, Humboldt, Kansas. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the Danny Lee Morris Memorial Fund, and may be left with Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, Iola, Kansas.
