Daramis Steward Montz, 88, former Iola, Kansas, resident died April 28, 2011 in Lincoln, Nebraska. She was born October 24, 1922, in Iola, Kansas, the daughter of C. Dewey and Suzan R. (Page) Steward. She was the first child of seven. She graduated from Iola High School. Daramis married Orlen Pfeifer and he preceded her in death. She had lived in Estes Park, Colorado and Independence, Missouri before moving to Lincoln eighteen years ago. SURVIVORS: 1 Daughter: Dorcas Jean Smith of Ashland, Nebraska 2 Sons: Ronald L. Pfeifer & wife, Beth of Drake, Colorado, and Randall B. Pfeifer of Florence, Arizona 2 Sisters: Leah Keagle of Iola, Kansas, and Suzie Clark and husband, Porter of Independence, Kansas 1 Brother: Jack Steward and wife, Bonnie of Iola, Kansas 6 Grandchildren: Kenneth Rutt & wife, Laura of Glendale, Arizona, Steve Watson & wife, Stephanie of Eagle, Nebraska, Brandy Parney & husband, Frank of Carthage, Tennessee and Heather, Heidi and Holly Pfeifer of Lincoln, Nebraska 15 Great Grandchildren A number of nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Donald, Larry and Wendell Steward.
