Donald Michael

Donald G. Michael, 83, of Iola, Kansas, died Wednesday, August 26, 2009, at Iola Nursing Center. Don was born June 7, 1926, in Garnett, Kansas, the son of Arnold B. and Pearl Edith (Tempel) Michael. He lived all of his life in Iola and worked a number of years for Forestine's Sandwich Inn. He also helped maintain the appearance of the downtown square. He is survived by several special friends in the community. GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 31, 2009, at Highland Cemetery in Iola. The Chaplain Lloyd W. Houk will officiate.
