Don Wayne Miller

March 19, 1953 — November 25, 2023

Don Wayne Miller of Livingston, Texas, died Saturday November 25, 2023, at his home. He was born on March 19, 1953, in Garnett Kansas, to Don Wayne Miller and Harrietta Dunlap.

I knew a man named Don Miller. He stood at 5'8"; a man to still look up to. He was true-blue, tough, fiery, and gentle all at the same time. He would rarely ask for help because he didn't want to bother anyone, not because he was too proud. He wasn't a loud man, but he could make his point well known. He had a good sense of humor but never cruel and a true caretaker of the land. He was a brave and courageous man, he never stopped fighting the battle until he was overcome by it. Don kept a loving family that did their best to make his last days on earth full of care and love. What better mark could a man leave on this world than a kind and decent family.

He is survived by his two sons, Daniel Ray Miller, Montgomery, Texas and David Wesley Miller, Livingston, Texas; his brothers, Fred Miller, Fort Scott, Kansas; Ronnie Dunlap, Mulvane, Kansas; sisters Vicky Louk, Kincaid, Kansas; Lori McDaniel, Udall; grandchildren, Bailee, Elizabeth, and Weston Miller.

He was preceded in death by his father, Don Wayne Miller, whose legacy was carried on through him, brothers, Gary and Jack Dunlap. Those they leave behind on Earth will continue to honor their memories and legacy here on.

Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, December 1, 2023, at the Feuerborn Family Funeral Service Chapel. His loved ones will lay him to rest at the Kincaid Cemetery, Kansas, beside his father and join again together in Heaven.
