Donna Holinsworth

Donna Carole Holinsworth, 59, of Humboldt, Kansas, died Tuesday, October 26, 2010. Donna was born March 11, 1951, at Fort Scott, Kansas, the daughter of Harlan B. and Bessie Revona (Odam) Stokes. She grew up in the LaHarpe area. On March 25, 1995, Donna married H.E. Holinsworth in Humboldt where they made their home. She has worked at Everbrite Electronics in Chanute for the past 11 years. She loved to spend time with her grandkids, crocheting afghans for her family, playing cards, cooking for her family, shopping and traveling. SURVIVORS: Her Husband: H.E. Holinsworth of the home 3 Daughters: Sheila Sigg of Iola, KS, Shelly Brown & husband, Mike of Iola, KS, and Ashley Reno & husband, A.J. of rural Humboldt. 2 Step-Children: Cindy Holinsworth of Humboldt, KS and Steve Holinsworth of Joplin, MO 10 Grandchildren: Shannon, Garret, Dakota, Reghan, Lauren, Paige, Liza, Livey, Jaylynn and Jayli 1 Great Granddaughter: Blayke Leighann 4 Brothers: Eddie, Archie and Delbert Stokes all of LaHarpe, KS and Willis Stokes of Herrington, KS 2 Sisters: Lois Mix of Columbia Station OH and Linda Cole of Nevada, MO She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, great grandparents and a brother, Harvey Stokes. VISITATION: 7:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, Oct. 29, 2010, at the Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Chapel in Iola. FUNERAL SERVICE: 2:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 30, 2010, at the Humboldt United Methodist Church. INURNMENT: Mount Hope Cemetery in Humboldt, KS, at a later date.
