Donna McCall, age 75, of Moran, Kansas, passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2020, at Allen County Regional Hospital of Iola, Kansas
Donna was the first child of three children adopted by Clifford and Patricia (Cash) Waterman. She was born on March 13, 1945 in Phoenix, Arizona to Margaret Caldwell Traughber. She attended school in Pittsburg, Kansas. In 1964, she married Danny McCall in Moran, Kansas. Their union was blessed with two children, Sherry Stewart and Patrick McCall. Over the years, Donna worked various jobs. For 14 years, she owned and operated the Cherry Blossom Cafe in Moran.
Donna was known for her outgoing personality. She didn’t know a stranger. Everywhere she went, she was making friends and starting conversations. You could find Donna volunteering at her local church. She was a part of the Red Hat Club and also loved to read.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Holly Waterman Kirk.
Donna is survived by her husband, Danny, of the home; daughter, Sherry Stewart (Jeff) of Moran, Kansas; son, Patrick McCall (Amy) of Prosper, Texas; brother, Jace Waterman (Margie) of Kansas City, Kansas; grandchildren, Blake Stewart, Alyssa Beggs (Micheal), Tabitha Ford (Kevin), Cameron Russell, and Kirby McCall; great-grandchildren, Aubree Stewart and Caelum Stewart; and numerous other family members and friends.
A graveside service to celebrate Donna’s life will be held Thursday, April 30, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. at the Moran Cemetery in Moran, Kansas. Memorials in honor of Donna are suggested to Moran United Methodist Church and may be left with the funeral home. Condolences for the family may be left online at www.feuerbornfuneral.com .
