Dora Lucille Lewis

Dora Lucille Lewis, age 93, of Garnett, Kansas, passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2012, at the Anderson County Hospital, Garnett. She was born December 4, 1918, the daughter of Thomas and Dora (Bristow) Welborn, one of eleven children. Dora married Claude Raymond Lewis in 1938 at Iola, Kansas, enjoying 44 years together. He preceded her in death in 1981. She later married Claude Drybread, then Clarence Horst, they also preceded her in death. She enjoyed dancing, traveling, sewing, crocheting, and playing cards. Dora worked as a retail clerk at several businesses for many years. Dora was preceded in death by her grandson, Tim Riblett. She is survived by her daughters, Peggy Hermreck and husband Henry of Overland Park, Kansas; Linda Moody and husband Henry of Kincaid, Kansas; one brother, Joe Welborn and wife Ollie of South Carolina; four grandchildren, Deatra White and husband Kent; Darin Hermreck; Michael Riblett and wife Anna; and Paula Webb and husband Chris; nine great grandchildren, Kendra, Kyla, and Kaitlin White; Lauren Browning and Vivian Riblett; Christopher Webb; Jamie Henderson and husband Garen, and Kyle Riblett; two great great grandchildren, Wyatt and Violet Henderson; many nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Friday July 20, 2012, at the Feuerborn Family Funeral Service Chapel, Garnett. Burial to follow in the Garnett Cemetery. No visitation is scheduled.
