Doris Baker

Doris Baker age 75, passed away on November 13, 2024 at St. Luke's Hospital of Kansas City, Kansas City, Missouri.

Doris Jean Stark was born on March 25, 1949, to Leslie and Addie (Lakey) Stark in Neodesha, Kansas. Doris grew up in Chanute, Kansas, where she attended school and graduated from Chanute High. After high school she enrolled at Neosho Community College and received her nursing degree. Doris married Willam Baker and this union was blessed with three children. Doris and the family moved to Larned, Kansas, where she began working at the State Hospital. She continued this career for a majority of her life until retirement.

Doris was preceded in death by her father Leslie Stark.

Doris is survived by her children, Bobbi Jean Baker of Great Bend, Kansas,Ryan Neal Baker of Tucker, Arkansas and Randy Shane Baker of Great Bend, Kansas; ten grandchildren; 13 great- grandchildren; siblings, Terry Stark of Oakdale, California, Edna Henderson of Garnett, Kansas, William Stark of Chetopa, Kansas, Jimmie Stark of Hutchison, Kansas; along with many nieces and nephews.

There will be a private family service at a later time.
