Doris Dickey

Doris Irene Dickey, 90, of Iola, Kansas, passed away Thursday, October 4, 2012, at Fountain Villa in Iola. Doris was born August 31, 1922, in Webster City, Iowa, the daughter of Art and Elsie (Livisey) Remling. Doris married Derwood Dickey (L.D.) and they made their home in Amarillo, Texas a number of years. He preceded her in death in 1984. She moved to Hutchinson in 1988 and then to Iola in 2008 to be near family. SURVIVORS: 1 Daughter-In-Law: Mary Dickey of Iola, KS 1 Nephew: Don Remling of Mims, FL 1 Niece: Diana Fields of Amarillo, TX She was preceded in death by her son, Doy Dickey. FUNERAL SERVICE: 10:30 a.m., Monday, Oct. 8, 2012, at the Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Chapel in Iola.
