Dorothy Robinson

Dorothy Dean Robinson, 96, of Iola, Kansas, died Thursday, March 26, 2015, at Windsor Place in Iola. Dorothy was born November 3, 1918, in Iola, the daughter of Frederick and Blanche (Shockey) Vogel. She lived her entire life in Iola. She was employed at the Allen County Hospital for over 20 years and worked for several Iola doctors. She was married to Elvin Robinson, and had 4 children. He preceded her in death. SURVIVORS: 2 Sons: Jerry Robinson & wife, Mary of San Antonio, TX, and Bob Robinson & wife, Barbara of Great Bend, KS 1 Daughter: Carol McAnulty of Iola, KS 1 Sister: Josephine Turley of Iola, KS 12 Grandchildren & a number of great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Ron Robinson, sister Wanda, brother Floyd and granddaughter Debbie (Dozier) Anderson. VISITATION & SERVICE: Family and friends will meet at the Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 28, 2015, for visitation before leaving for Highland Cemetery for graveside services at 11:00.
