Earl Robinett

Earl E. Robinett, age 91, of Kincaid, Kansas, passed away on Monday, November 5, 2012, at Anderson County Long Term Care in Garnett, Kansas. He was born on December 8, 1920, at Hartville, Missouri, the son of Jesse and Bessie (Long) Robinett. Earl lived in Johnson County, Kansas until the age of ten, moving to Coffey County, Kansas attending a country school. He entered the United States Navy in October 1941, serving in the South Pacific during World War II. He farmed for over 50 years near Burlington, Kansas moving near Kincaid, Kansas in 1985. Earl enjoyed gardening and woodworking. Earl was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Bessie Robinett; one brother, Amos Robinett; and one sister, Hazel Nickle. He is survived by his niece, Beverly Macek, of Overland Park, Kansas. Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at Stringtown Cemetery, New Strawn, Kansas.
