Earl Dean Rossman, age 74, of Richmond, Kansas, passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2018, at Freedom Behavioral Hospital, Topeka, Kansas. He was born January 3, 1944, in Franklin County, Kansas, the son of John and Agnes (Wolken) Rossman. Earl graduated from Richmond High School and worked on the family farm until moving to town to care for his mother. He enjoyed watching sports, playing cards, fishing and quail hunting. He also loved older style country music. Earl was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church, Richmond. Earl was preceded in death by his parents, John and Agnes Rossman; four brothers, Jim Rossman, Virgil Rossman, Don Rossman and Robert Rossman. He is survived by three sisters, Maretta Mulerin of Fenton, Michigan; Erma Brown and husband Dan of Kansas; and Dorothy Shields of Princeton, Kansas; one brother, Arthur Rossman and wife Phyllis of Richmond, Kansas; many nieces, nephews and extended family. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Monday, March 19, 2018 at St. Therese Catholic Church, Richmond, Kansas; with burial to follow in the St. Boniface Cemetery, Scipio. A rosary will be held on Sunday evening at the Feuerborn Family Funeral Service Chapel, Garnett, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with visitation to follow.
