Edward Donnelly

Edward John Donnelly, 72, of Humboldt, Kansas, died Friday, January 9, 2009, at Windsor Place Nursing Center in Iola, Kansas. Ed was born March 17, 1936, at Washington D.C. to Frank and Marie (Chatham) Donnelly. He grew up in Washington D.C. He joined the United States Air Force after graduation from high school and served four years. On June 22, 1957, Ed married Juanita "Jennie" Perez at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Humboldt. They made their home in various parts of the country following his career as a computer consultant contractor. In 1992, they moved to Humboldt. Ed was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Humboldt. SURVIVORS: Wife, Jennie Donnelly of the home. 1 Son: Ed Donnelly & wife, Michelle of Lee's Summit, MO 2 Daughters: Anita Buchanan & husband, Allan of Neodesha, KS, and Laura Dickenson of Waco, TX 9 Grandchildren 1 Brother: Jim Donnelly of Atlanta, GA 1 Sister: Patricia Fisher of Mifflintown, Pennsylvania He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Marie "Sis" and brothers, Frank and Joe. At his request, cremation has taken place and private family services have been held.
