Edward T. "Tim" Harrington

Edward T. "Tim" Harrington Jr., age 53, of Colony, Kansas passed away Friday, April 1, 2011 at the St. Francis Via Christi Hospital, Wichita, Kansas. He was born December 19, 1957 at Iola, Kansas, the son of Edward T. and Ida Lovetra (Gray) Harrington. Tim grew up in Colony, attending school there, graduating from Crest High School. Following school Tim worked with his father on the farm then for other area farmers. He had been working on the farm for Steve Frank for several years. He enjoyed helping his friend, Richard Buckle, feed his cows. Tim enjoyed woodworking, but his greatest joy was the outdoors, where he loved to hunt, fish and camp. Tim was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Earlene Moran in 1997. He is survived by one sister, Margaret Keen and husband, David, of Westphalia, Kansas; 3 nephews and their family's, Craig and Brenda Cooper of Colony, Mark and Marcella Moran of Brazil, and Billy and Lailing Moran of Houston, Texas; and many friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at the Feuerborn Family Funeral Service Chapel, Colony. Burial will follow in the Colony Cemetery. The body will lie in state from 1:00 - 8:00 PM, Tuesday evening at the funeral home. The family will be present to greet friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday evening.
