Elaine Cannon

Elaine Theresa Cannon, 90, of Elsmore, Kansas, died Tuesday, February 28, 2012, at Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center in Chanute, Kansas. Elaine was born December 25, 1921, in Muskegon, Michigan, the daughter of John Lawrence and Laura (Johnson) Pearo. She married Jarvis Eugene Cannon and they lived in Michigan before moving to Elsmore in 1984. He preceded her in death November 4, 2009. Elaine worked a number of years as a nurses aide in area nursing homes. SURVIVORS: 2 Sons: Jason Cannon of Elsmore, KS, and Lloyd Whitledge of Missouri 2 Step-Daughters: Sharon Boyd of Muskegon, MI and Phyllis Hooper of Mesa, AZ 2 Brothers: Louie Pearo and Steward Pearo 2 Sisters: Mickey Cannon and Gloria Chapman 8 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren Cremation has taken place. MEMORIAL SERVICE: 7:00 p.m., Thursday, March 8, 2012, at Restoration Fellowship Chapel in Humboldt, Kansas. Pastor Kelley Zellner will officiate.
