Ellen G. Judd

Ellen Gertrude Stapleton Connor Judd, age 78, of Ottawa, Kansas, passed away on November 20, 2010 at Ransom Memorial Hospital, Ottawa, Kansas. She was born April 17, 1932, at Bayard, Kansas, the daughter of Orville and Leah (Rogers) Stapleton. She was married to John Conner of Bush City, Kansas and this union was blessed with 4 children. In 1961, Ellen was married to Melvern Judd. They made their home in Almagordo, New Mexico where she worked as a home health nurse until retiring. They had recently moved to Ottawa. Ellen is survived by her husband Melvern, of the home; two sons, Glenn Conner and wife Brenda; Richard Conner; two daughters, Diana Englebrink and husband Frank; and Shirley Trout; one stepdaughter, Connie Hashman and husband Mike; 8 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren and 12 great grand children. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, two sisters, and two grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by family and friends. A visitation will be held on Monday evening November 22, 2010, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Feuerborn Family Funeral Service Chapel, Garnett.
