Emma Ella Rayburn

Emma Ella Rayburn, age 4, LaHarpe, Kansas, passed away on August 5, 2018, at the Allen County Regional Hospital, Iola, Kansas. Emma was born prematurely at two pounds, ten ounces, with a rare genetic syndrome on November 9, 2013, in Iola, Kansas, to Kyle and Cassidy Cole Rayburn. Emma will be remembered for her beautiful smile and her sweet giggle. She loved being kissed, being cuddled, sang to, going fast with her dad, and all the time she spent with mom. She enjoyed having her brother pushing her on the swing and going swimming. She attended pre-school, where she enjoyed her teachers and her other classmates. Emma was a fighter from the beginning, whose strength was an inspiration to all. She never left you without a smile. Emma was preceded in death by great-grandparents, Gene Cochran, Luella Cochran, Gale Mullins, Lewis Rayburn, and Betty Rayburn. Emma is survived by her parents, brother, Ryder Rayburn of the home; grandparents, Chris and Annette Cole, Moran, and Darwin and Pam Bennett, Iola; great-grandparents, Jim and Anna Cole, Moran, Elaine Mullins, Nevada, Missouri, Tom and Pat Bennett, Clinton, Missouri; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. A funeral service honoring Emma's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 10, 2018, at Feuerborn Family Funeral Chapel, Iola, Kansas. Burial will follow in the Moran Cemetery, Moran, Kansas. Memorials are requested to the Emma Ella Rayburn Memorial Fund, and may be left at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, Iola.
