Ennis (Blohm) Seigel, 80, of Iola, Kansas, died Monday, February 14, 2011, at the Allen County Hospital in Iola. Ennis was born November 7, 1930, at Humboldt, Kansas, the daughter of James Coy and Ellen Ollie (Moody) Aggers. She grew up in the Humboldt and Neosho Falls areas. In 1947, Ennis married Ray Blohm and they made their home in Iola. She worked as an assistant to Dr. David Hanson before becoming a certified operating room technician. She worked at Allen County Hospital for almost 30 years, retiring in 1998. Ray preceded her in death on August 12, 1994. On September 7, 1996, Ennis married Jim Seigel and they made their home in Iola. She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church and enjoyed bowling and attending her grandchildren's and great grandchildren's ballgames. SURVIVORS: Her husband: Jim Seigel of the home 2 Daughters: Jeanne Ulrich & husband, Gordon of Iola, KS and Pam Gurwell & significant other, Richard Tyler of Iola, KS and former son-in-law, Keith Gurwell, of Chanute, KS 4 Grandchildren: Alyssa Mollins, Aaron Gurwell, Lori Moore and Brek Ulrich 8 Great Grandchildren: Kyra, Piper, Benjamin, Reagan, Mason, Logan, Jackson and Emily Rae 4 Step-Children: Steve Seigel, Mike Seigel & wife, Mary Ann, Pam Cox and Karen Seigel all of Tulsa, OK Several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren 1 Brother: Jake Aggers & wife, Lou of Humboldt, KS 1 Sister: Sylvia Smith of Wichita, KS She was preceded in death a grandson, Donald Leland Ulrich, her sister Edna Goszdak, brothers Charles, George, Clyde and Walter Aggers and three infant siblings. VISITATION: 5:00-7:00 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 17, 2011, at the Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Chapel in Iola. FUNERAL SERVICE: 2:00 p.m., Friday, Feb. 18, 2011, at the Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Chapel in Iola. Rev. Kenneth Seigel will officiate.
