Eugene Burrows

Eugene Vern "Gene" Burrows, 92, of LaHarpe, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at the Allen County Hospital. Gene was born December 3, 1920, in Bourbon County, Kansas, the son of Charlie and May (Hutchinson) Burrows. He grew up in this area until moving to California in 1945 where he worked as a radio and television engineer. On March 1, 1945, Gene married Hazel Camps. They returned to LaHarpe in 1991. She preceded him in death on December 26, 1996. SURVIVORS: 2 Daughters: Shari Wolcott and Beverlee Eckhart and their families Cremation has taken place.
